Presentation: A Cuma (Cooperative for the Use of Agricultural Equipment) is a local agricultural structure where farmers pool their resources (equipment, labor, workshops, etc.). This legal framework allows them to reduce mechanization costs, access new technologies, and optimize work sites. Members are thus more efficient and innovative. The Cuma is also a place for exchanging experiences and disseminating new practices, continuing education, local development in its territory, social ties, and solidarity. The Regional Federation of Cuma of the West (FRcuma Ouest), with 7 federations in 14 departments, represents the largest federation in France, within a national structure (FNcuma) that unites more than 11,000 Cuma.
